Entry 14/100 No More Bullets.
Death toll from the protests against Maduro’s rule is up to 41 since February 12, 2014. The pro-government movements and the national guard have been attacking civilians in violent ways.
Students have been campaigning to stop the use of bullets, mostly because they are pacifically protesting and their is no need to repress them. Protesters seek to open peaceful dialogue with the government in order to put an end to this chaos. The use of gas bombs, marbles, regular bullets, and other type of weapons should be considered by international defense organisms as inhumane and illegal. We invite and encourage human defense organizations to help protesters and take action.
Aside from the 41 civilians that have fallen, about 650 protesters have been injured, 2000 detained and more than 170 are still behind bars. These numbers do not include the missing/kidnapped civilians and the almost 25000 homicides that occurred in 2013.
